A major milestone was reached this year with the upcoming launch of the integration with Visma Business NXT. In addition, we have launched a brand-new version of ERPHub, a microservice that significantly simplifies and streamlines ERPintegrations. One of the biggest advantages of Control in the cloud is the ability to perform exception-based reconciliation. With an impressive automation rate of 96%, nearly all transactions are reconciled automatically, significantly reducing the need for manual work. Control automatically retrieves bank and accounting data, eliminating the need for the finance department to manually fetch files.
Moreover, Control provides a clear and comprehensive overview of reconciliations andaccounts across clients. The cloud platform also allows multiple users to work on reconciliations simultaneously, making it highly flexible and efficient. Go-Live with Visma Business NXT on October 8th
The new version of Control Cloud, going live on October 8th, will be significantly faster than the current solution, providing customers with a much more efficient reconciliation process. Behind this improvement lies extensive work on optimizing the engine that drives Control.
"We have made many technical improvements. The entire project over the past six months has involved a major rewrite. We have, among other things, upgraded the framework versions of the platforms we use, transitioned from monolith to microservice architecture, improved scalability, performance, and availability, and paved the way for more efficient development of new features," says Tonning, who leads the team behind the optimization.
Tonning emphasizes that the focus going forward will be on making the solution more scalable and improving the product for future development.
Future Upgrades and Finance Manager
The product's further development will include integrations with additional ERP systems, ensuring that Control Cloud can be adapted to even more customers.
One of the most exciting upcoming releases is Finance Manager, which will integrate all our cloud-based products into a unified solution. This means that Pay, Control, and Commerce will be integrated into a user-customized dashboard, providing full control over your financial data. With Finance Manager, you can tailor how you want to view the information, and a built-in task manager allows you to create and assign tasks to team members, making collaboration even moreefficient and seamless.
Another important initiative is the self-service offering, as Tonning describes: "This allows customers to connect integrations to banks and accounting systems themselves, and to add accounts and clients without the need for support." Additionally, planned features include rule-based automaticposting, intercompany reconciliations, and a notification system to provide even more efficient financial management.
