Our story started in the 1980s, when our founder, Jan Ove Seth, saw a problem firsthand while working in finance: banks and businesses were running payments through completely different systems, creating unnecessary friction, manual work, and disconnected data.
Aritma was established in 1990 to bridge that gap.
What began as a way to help banks and businesses communicate better has grown into a platform for modern financial workflows — helping finance teams move data more easily, automate critical processes, and work with greater control across banking and accounting.
